Ever since I entered the mortgage industry I've understood the value and benefit of a tax deductible mortgage. When Fraser Smith wrote his book capitalizing on a strategy some of us had already been using personally to deduct the interest on our mortgages, he simply articulated what was possible, but in practice to actually have the manoeuvre implemented and more importantly administered correctly,- well that was illusive to most. Actually, it was effectively limited to only those who embarked on a very complicated and expensive structure involving lawyers and corporate share transfers among other challenges. But then came TDMP! TDMP has achieved more efficiently, affordably and with far better reporting what my colleagues and I could have only wished for years ago.
